"Greetings and salutations !"

"I am Dr. Johnny McClurkin Hunter, DD. I was born not too far from here, in Goshen Hill, South Carolina, in the back room of a house sitting on a hill. I am the grandson of James McClurkin, a descendant of a slave and a slave owner. The house still stands to this day and so do I for the gospel of life. Today, I address you as an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ."

[continues...]

"While early civil rights activists were willing to lay down their lives for a cause, the pretenders take the lives of others for their cause."

[continues...]

"And under the pretense of "choice," every gain made during the early era of the civil rights struggle is being erased one child at a time. The real civil right activists fought for better education, equal job opportunities, and even the right to vote. They stood for equal protection under the law."

"However, a better education means nothing to a dead child. Equal job opportunities mean nothing to a dead child. The right to vote means nothing to a dead child. A dead child has no protection under the law. In other words, abortion makes sure that child never learns to spell, read, write, count, sing the alphabet song or recite a poem. Abortion denies the child a job permanently. Abortion robs the child of the right to ever vote in a local, state or national election. Abortion pushers do not want any child in the womb to be protected by law. And it is to that end that Jezebel, in the form of bigoted groups like Planned Parenthood, seduces elected officials to deny legal protection for pre-born children."

"I am glad that there are parents who despite being pressured to do otherwise, ensure that their child gets to participate in the most precious celebration of all - a birthday."

"I am glad that there are men and women of faith, who believe that children are the hope of the future and they work tirelessly to keep them safe in the present."

[continues...]

"Therefore, I encourage every elected official to start supporting the Right to Life Act of South Carolina. By doing so, you will be embracing the dream."

"I especially encourage Black elected officials to support life protecting legislation. This is a civil rights issue. By doing so, you will be fighting prejudice and racism. I say this because abortion is racism in its ugliest form."

"Between 1882 and 1968, 3,446 Blacks were lynched in the United States. To date, approximately 1,452 Black children are aborted each day. In other words, more Blacks are killed by abortion in 3 days than 86 years of lynching. This violence in the womb must be stopped. It is womb lynching. It is genocidal ! It is wicked ! It is wrong ! It is unfair to the child."

[continues...]

"As the eyes of masses of Blacks around this nation come open, they will look with disdain on those who believe it is ok to commit violence in the womb."

"In his Letter from a Birmingham jail, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote, "The early church brought an end to such things as infanticide." At this point, Black leaders should not be concerned about what Dr. King would think of them. We must be concerned about the one from whom Dr. King noted that there is no escape. They should be concerned with what Jesus will think of them when they meet Him."

"Let's save the children !"

Statement by Steve Lefemine, dir. Columbia Christians for Life statement posted at: www.christianlifeandliberty.net/RTLAofSC-07-04.doc

(excerpts)

"Good day, my name is Steve Lefemine. I am director of Columbia Christians for Life. I wish to report on the ongoing effort to ESTABLISH JUSTICE for ALL pre-birth human beings in SC, beginning at fertilization, and to renew the now 10-year-old call for passage of the Right to Life Act of SC, legislation first introduced in 1998, and active in the SC General Assembly every year since so far through 2006, which would recognize the legal "personhood" of human beings in the womb, thereby meeting the criterion set almost 34 years ago in the very text of the Roe v. Wade decision itself, for the "collapse" of the fallacious, unconstitutional, and wicked pro-abortion argument."

[continues...]

"The Right to Life Act of SC, in statutorily vesting legal "personhood" at fertilization for ALL human beings, satisifies the Roe formula published 34 years ago. The issue of legal "personhood" for ALL human beings, without exception, is a key to unlocking the 34 year old Roe v. Wade abortion enigma."
